Moonshine Cove Summer BBQ Brings Members Together

On Saturday, July 17, Moonshine Cove Yacht Club members and their families gathered at the marina for our annual summer BBQ. We were treated to a beautiful sunny day with perfect weather—warm enough to enjoy being outdoors, but not too hot.

Approximately 35 members and family members joined us for an afternoon of great food and even better company. The Board of Directors rolled up their sleeves to serve burgers, hot dogs, and refreshments, making it a true volunteer effort.

A special thank you goes to Mudge Island Community Services (MICS) for generously lending us a tent and tables, helping make the event comfortable and enjoyable for everyone.

We would also like to recognize the volunteers who made the day a success:

• REDACTED and David Stark for keeping the grill going and serving up perfectly cooked burgers and hot dogs.

• Susanne Jakobsen for organizing all of the food and supplies.

• Laura Sheldon for coordinating with MICS to arrange the tent and tables.

Events like these are a wonderful reminder that Moonshine Cove is more than just a marina—it's a community. Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, and helped make the afternoon such a success. We look forward to seeing everyone again at our next club event!
